Roksanda Ilincic’s autumn winter catwalk show was accompanied by a feel-good disco soundtrack of songs including ‘New York City Girls’ and ‘You Make Me feel.’
The upbeat tempo perfectly complemented her collection of fluid silk two-tone dresses, sheer blouses and use of beautiful fabrics- a definite Studio 54, early Halston-esque vibe.
Front row seats were marked out by a pale pink rose and fab MAC goody bags, whilst models emerged from an archway of beautiful fresh flowers to a runway of wine red carpet.
Fluid draping, floral embellishment and exaggerated lapels on outerwear were key features. A long flowing backless, navy silk dress with beading detail was a favourite of mine- absolutely stunning!
Whistles chief executive Jane Sheperdson (below) was spotted on the front row, along with a raft of other key buyers.
